Chesney goes to see Fiz and tells her that he is sure they will let her go now that they have John's confession, so he is going to get her bed ready.
Later, Fiz is in court for the sentencing, and the judge is told of John's confession. But all is not well.....the judge will not accept it as tried and tested evidence, so carries on by sentencing her to life imprisonment, to serve a minimum of 15 years. After, Fiz is told they can appeal, but it could take a few months to be heard.
Fiz asks Chesney to organize John's funeral, but he refuses, and ends up by falling out with Fiz.
Jeff wants Rosie to tell her story to the Weatherfield Gazette, but she's not sure. Chris persuades Jason to let him use his flat until it is sold, so moves out of Lloyd's place. Chris, when asked, denies that he told Russ that he and Cheryl were getting back together.
Peter and Lianne are back from their holiday, and seem very happy, so go to the Bistro for a meal.
Julie and Brian move into a flat and soon "christen" it!
Later on at the Rovers, Julie tells Brian that she wants to be a mother, which pleases Brian, so they rush off home to start practising!!
Carla....desparate for work, manages to pinch a deal from Frank by promising to finish it by the end of the week. She offers the girls double pay to work overtime to get the order done.....although she has no money.
Frank thinks that Carla won't succeed though.
Sally starts mouthing off about Fiz being as guilty as ----! This annoys everyone especially Julie.
